Description

Not recommended for publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'. Gives point-by-point list of reasons why paper is unsuitable for publication. Adds that is it desirable that the results 'be repeated on a much larger scale by experienced horticulturalists'.

Has additional note by William Sharpey, agreeing with the reviewer's recommendations.
