Description

Sectional Committee: Mathematics

Recommended for publication in the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society of London'. The substance of the paper should be published, but considers the author to have 'allowed himself to form an extremely exaggerated idea of the importance of the whole subject'. The mathematical content is disappointing. Refers to Bennett's theorem. Suggests reducing the number of drawings and photographing the others to save money by not employing a draughtsman.
