Recommended for publication in the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society of London', but only because the Royal Society previously published a paper by William Arthur Bone and Reginald J Sarjant. The paper mostly deals with problems of an industrial nature. Suggests the Journal of the Society of Chemical Industry might be a more suitable place for publication. Considers the publication of the previous paper a 'mistake' as it commits the society to print the current paper.
