Referee's report by Horace Lamb, on a paper 'The diffraction of plane electromagnetic waves by a perfectly reflecting sphere' by F Puryer White and Thomas John I'Anson Bromwich

Reference number: RR/26/144

Date: October 1921

Description

Sectional Committee: Mathematics

Recommended for publication in the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society of London'. Considers the manuscript in places illegible, which may cause problems at the printers. Suggests omitting some of the analytical steps. Agrees with the other referees, but considers the Proceedings a more suitable place for publication.

[Published in the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society of London' A, 1922]
