Description

Sectional Committee: Geology

Not recommended for publication in the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society of London'. Refers to seismology work by George Walker Walker. 'The whole of this portion of the paper seem to me of the very flimsiest character, quite unworthy of the Royal Society'. If the first part of the paper is approved by 'a competent geologist or geographer' the referee would welcome the chance to discuss his objections to the seismological section.
