Description

Sectional Committee: Physiology

Not recommended for publication in the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society of London'. Considers the authors to be unaware of current research into the subject, on which the current paper is a 'poor contribution'. The paper covers the subject as outlined by the title 'scantily'. Half of the papers referenced by the current paper are by the current author, with no reference made to the 'large mass of experimental evidence' regarding the subject. The paper accepts as 'universally accepted' their own views on colour vision, which are not generally accepted. The manuscript requires rearrangement to aid clarity. Cannot judge the worth of the paper for the subject of 'descriptive Entomology'.
