Description

Sectional Committee: Geology

No clear statement regarding publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'. The illustrations are key to its publication value. Refers to work of Edwin Ray Lankester, on whose work the paper builds. Refers to work of Worthington George Smith 'Man, the Primeval Savage: His Haunts and Relics from the Hill-tops of Bedfordshire to Blackwall' 1894, with whose observations the conclusions in the paper do not agree. The paper 'provides interesting material for discussion'.
