Description

Sectional Committee: Botany

Not recommended for publication in the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society of London'. Has compared the current revised paper with the original version. Refers to work by Richard Willstätter. The main points of his thesis are now much less certain, so that the paper cannot now 'claim to make "material contribution" to our knowledge'. Secondary matters touched upon in the paper could be combined to make a new communication. Suggests the paper be withdrawn.
