Description

Sectional Committee: Botany

Not recommended for publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society', if certain changes are made. Suggests the paper could be reduced in length by removal of uneccessary detail. Refers to work by Bach [?], Chodot [?] and Henry Edward Armstrong. If the paper is condensed it might be a good length for the Proceedings. Agrees that a change of title would be advantageous.

Appended note from Harrison - States that the paper has already been seen by two referees with conflicting views as regards publication, but that one referee suggested the paper should be seen by a biochemist, hence why the Chairman is sending it over.
