Description

The Chairman of the Physics and Chemistry Committee asks Thomas Mather if the attached modifications to the paper are of such a nature to allow publication. - Signed R Harrison

William Duddell responds that the modifications are such that the paper should be published in the Proceedings. The lack of precision in the experiments make the paper unsuitable for the Philosophical Transactions. The modifications presented by the author relate to the summary of previous work on the subject, and do not address the criticisms of the experiments. No new, more precise experiments, appear to have been attempted. Dated 16 November 1914.
