Second referee's report by Baden Powell, on a paper 'On the diurnal temperature of the Earth’s surface, and the discussion of a simple formula for ascertaining the same' by S M Drach

Reference number: RR/1bis/20

Date: 08 June 1842

Description

Not recommended for publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'. The general character of the investigations merit attention. The judgement of James David Forbes carries more weight than his own, owing to the former's more extensive knowledge of the subject. Suggests returning the paper for revision.
