Recommended for publication in the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society of London'. The author criticises a paper by George Barker Jeffery ['On a form of the solution of Laplace's equation suitable for problems relating to two spheres', Proceedings, Vol.87, p.109, 1912, DOI: 10.1098/rspa.1912.0063]. Suggests that George Barker Jeffrey be allowed to see the current paper to offer an explanation prior to publication. Has suggested this separately to Joseph Larmor.
