Description

Sectional Committee: Not stated

Not recommended for publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'. Wonders if it would have been better to omit the photographs. Paper should be published in 'abbreviated form' in the Transactions, but the abbreviations may be so great as to reduce the value of the paper. Lists suggestions which should be passed to the author. Suggests some clarifying statements on methods and equipment. Plate of photographs should not be included. If the author is not willing to make suggested changes, he should summarise the paper in an abstract for the Proceedings.
