Description

Sectional Committee: Botany

Recommended for publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'. Suggests the author remove some of the 'tedious repetition'. The dataset is small and some of the conclusions therefore premature. Author should avoid using "our parts" when referring, presumably, to north west Europe. The subject is little covered, and provides scope for further experimentation.
