Description

Sectional Committee: Botany

Not recommended for publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'. Does not consider the publications of the Royal Society to be suited for this type of memoir. If it is published however, it should not be modified. Discusses general policy on the publication of memoirs. If this one is published, then other memoirs on similar 'minute anatomy' would have no reason to be refused. 'The subject matter is of no general interest'. Suggests it would be more appropriate for publication in a 'purely botanical journal'.
