Description

Sectional Committee: Physics and Chemistry

Recommended for publication in the Philosophical Transactions. Plates one to five and figures one to 21 should be reproduced. The paper is the result of an experimental investigation which has extended over many years, the idea and method are new and original and the instrument has been specially devised. The results themselves are of great scientific interest. Professor Miers gave a brief statement of some of the results some years ago at the British Association and this might be referred to in the present paper.

[Published in Philosophical Transactions A, 1904].

Endorsed on verso as received 20 April 1903.
