Description

Sectional Committee: Botany

Recommended for publication in Philosophical Transactions, except for Section III, generic diagnosis and synonyms, which are given in all books of reference on conifers. This section might therefore be omitted or condensed. All the illustrations should be reproduced except the two or three representations of trees which have been repeatedly given. As to sections X and XI, he does not feel competent to give an opinion. The views of some expert in fossil botany should be obtained.
