Memoranda from The Royal Society, and reply from William Dobinson Halliburton, on a paper 'Contribution to the physiology of mammalian reproduction' by Francis Hugh Adam Marshall and William A Jolly

Reference number: RR/16/349

Date: 18 July 1905

Description

The manuscript of the paper was returned to the authors with a copy of the first referee's suggestions as to abbreviation et cetera. The manuscript has been returned with some of the suggestions carried out. The authors state that after careful consideration they have been unable to devise tables in which to summarise some of the facts. The first referee's report is enclosed for the Chairman's information. D J Cunningham, the second referee, suggested no modifications in the text but thought four illustrations might be slightly reduced, the others however would not bear reduction. Asks if the printing of the paper in the Philosophical Transactions may proceed.

In a reply dates 19 July Halliburton comments on the various points made in the memoranda and concludes that they can proceed with printing in the Transactions.

[Published in Philosophical Transactions B, 1906].
