Referee's report by Charles Scott Sherrington, on a paper 'The distribution of chloride in nerve cells & fibres' by Professor Archibald Byron Macallum and Miss M L Menten

Reference number: RR/16/344

Date: 10 August 1905

Description

Sectional Committee: Physiology

Recommended for publication in Proceedings. All the illustrations should be published as they appear necessary to the text and provide indications that the text cannot supply. The paper is of interest not only from the point of view of the visible structure but of the function of nerves. It contributes to a newly arisen conception of the working of nerves and should appear with as little delay as possible.

[Published in Proceedings of the Royal Society B, 1906].

Endorsed on verso as received 11 August 1905.
