Referee's report by Hugh Longbourne Callendar, on a paper 'The flow of the River Thames in relation to British pressure & rainfall changes' by Sir Joseph Norman Lockyer and Dr W J S Lockyer

Reference number: RR/16/342

Date: 05 June 1905

Description

Sectional Committee: not stated.

It is a pity that Chree's admirable criticisms should be wasted, but it is fair that authors should have the credit which is really due to to the referee. As Larmor says, taking Shaw's opinion, the paper may be printed with the latter part from page 20 to the end omitted, if the author's will consent.

[Published in Proceedings of the Royal Society A, 1905].

Endorsed on recto as received 6 June 1905.
