Referee's report by Sydney Howard Vines, on a paper 'The effect of plant growth & of manures upon the soil: the retention of bases by the soil' by A D Hall and N H J Muller

Reference number: RR/16/319

Date: 15 May 1905

Description

Sectional Committee: Botany

Vines notes that having read the paper with care and interest, he does not feel competent to express a decisive opinion as to its publication in Philosophical Transactions. The paper deals with problems of agricultural chemistry, and its merits can only be properly estimated by someone who has practical acquaintance with this branch of applied science.

[Published in Proceedings of the Royal Society B, 1905].
