Description

Sectional Committee: Physics and Chemistry

Recommended for publication in Philosophical Transactions, in full. Modification is not discussed. He thinks the illustrations are required. The paper needs revision and more precise indications to the printer of how formulae are to be arranged.

In a letter, he notes he had intended to make a better examination of Garnett's paper, but has been busy. He cannot profess to having examined the work in detail but believes it to be on sound lines and he recommends publication.

[Published in Philosophical Transactions A, 1906].

Endorsed on verso as received 6 June 1905.
