Description
Sectional Committee: Physiology
Recommended for publication in Philosophical Transactions. It is very long even after abridgement but he thinks it would be difficult for the author now to curtail it further as this might destroy the whole train of thought. Thinks Campbell should insert reference to Elliot Smith's work. The first most important case of Tabes upon which Campbell makes inferences should be quoted in full as it will then be seen that it is not free from doubt whether it was not a case of arrested Tabo-paralysis. Mentions the work of Betz. The membranes were thickened in patches over the fronto-central regions and it would in Mott's opinion be unsafe to place too much reliance on the atrophic changes observed. All the illustrations should be reproduced.
