Encloses notes made in going through Bairstow and Alexander's paper. These may be shown to Callendar who could pronounce with certainty on the suitability of the paper as it is 'just his subject'.
Asks if there is a meeting of the Society on 23rd March as he has a paper on the atomic weight of chlorine with E C Edgar, and wonders if he might read it then. Provides detailed queries regarding the paper, with references to the pages of the original paper and with reference to experimental design, assumptions made by the authors, and a formula quoted as Callendar's for the specific heat of steam.
