Description

Sectional committee: Zoology

Recommended for publication in Philosophical Transactions , in full. The paper seems of very great value as illustrating a method of dealing with biological problems which have hitherto been incapable of exact numerical treatment. The two simple diagrams should be reproduced. The last page of the manuscript tied up with Appendix I, numbered 62, appears to be a first draft of pages 67 and 68 and he imagines this should not be sent to the press.

[Published in Philosophical Transactions A, 1900].

Endorsed on verso as received 11 April 1900.
