Description

Sectional committee: Physics and chemistry

Recommended for publication in Philosophical Transactions in full without modification and with all the illustrations reproduced. With regards sheets five and twelve of the 'beautiful photographs' he cannot recommend either omission or reduction of scale as it is already necessary to use a lens to bring out the detail in some of them. The figures would have to be reproduced by a photographic process and the authors would probably be willing to lend the original negatives if this would facilitate matters.

[Published in Philosophical Transactions A, 1900].

Endorsed on verso as received 9 July 1900.
