Description

Sectional committee: Botany

Recommended for publication in Philosophical Transactions in full. It would not be possible to omit parts of it as it now stands without injury. Many of the illustrations are so similar to each other that they could be omitted without seriously impairing the paper's value. It might be left to the author's discretion to reduce the number of plates from five to three, or at most to four. Revision is required to correct type and spelling errors, the suggested formula at the footnote of page 42 is inadmissable.

[Published in Philosophical Transactions B, 1901].

Endorsed on verso as received 15 August 1900.
