Description

Sectional committee: Physiology

He has had had a few minutes conversation with [Michael] Foster regarding Ehrlich's lecture and at Foster's instance sends a few lines on the subject to Halliburton as Chairman of the physiology Committee. There are several points that require attending to make the lecture satisfactory; reference should be made to other observers and when a word is used in a technical sense such as 'immune bodies' a foot note should be given. He has since been over the lecture and has found various errors of translation requiring correction. Regarding the picture of molecules the Committee ought consider if these should appear. For the Proceedings they are perhaps [?], though he doubts they make Ehrlicher's theory any easier to understand.
