Thinks the author has promised to make the alternations they discussed. Encloses Gifford's last letter [not attached] marking the points of importance. Does not see much point in the proposed reference to the measured angles which the author suggests in his letter and he will explain this to the author. Encloses the manuscript, Gifford's letter to Larmor and Van der Willigens paper [no attachments].
