Description

Sectional Committee: Zoology

Recommended for publication in Philosophical Transactions . It should be published as it stands and no parts should be omitted. No modifications are necessary in his opinion. The illustrations are of a very simple kind and should all be reproduced. This paper is more or less a continuation of one by the same author entitled 'On the Formation of the Pelvic Pelxus 1. in the Genus Mustelus' and which was published in Philosophical Transactions. This renders it all the more desirable that the present paper should be published in a similar manner seeing that it is one of at least equal if not greater, merit.

[Published in Proceedings of the Royal Society, 1901].
