Sectional committee: Physics and chemistry

He cannot provide a definite opinion on the paper. On the whole, and considering Bryan is an expert in these matters, he is inclined to recommend publication in the the 'Transactions'. If he wishes it, Dr Stoney's criticisms should also be submitted.
