Referee's report by Shelford Bidwell, on a paper 'The behaviour of oxyhaemoglobin' by Arthur Gamgee
Reference number: RR/15/192
Date: 04 July 1901
Description
Sectional Committee: not stated.
The magnetic experiments appear to be quite satisfactory so far as they go. Only qualitative results were aimed at, and the effects seem to have been so well defined that there was no need for precaution against small sources of error. The account of the attempts at electrolysis, pp19-21, is rather vague and the author would be well advised if he held back this part of the communication until the experiments have been carried further. Does not feel competent to express a strong recommendation on the point, and would suggest if a further opinion is desired, that the matter be referred to Mr W N Shaw.
