Description

Sectional committee: Physics and chemistry

Recommended for publication in Philosophical Transactions in full. There are a few misprints in the manuscript. The author's attention should be drawn to their existence when the proofs are sent. All the illustrations should be reproduced. The author nowhere states the precise nature of his radio-active substance, nor does he indicate its provenance. He should be requested to furnish this information since radio-active substances vary considerably in their properties.

[Published in Philosophical Transactions A, 1922].

Endorsed on verso as received 11 June 1900.
