Description

Recommended for publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'. The title is misleading, as most of the specimens described are dinoflagellates, which are animals. Suggests printing the geological note separately. Refers to work of Charles Wyville Thomson, René-Édouard Claparède and Lachmann. Finds the paper to be in the style of a 'naturalist's note-book'. Suggests omitting the tables.
