Reference number: RR/14/33

Date: January 1899

Description

Not recommended for publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'. Has found what appears to be a serious error in some of the calculations. Gives detailed criticism. Finds fault with the author's work on bi-differential equations, but admits he may have just misinterpreted what the author has written, for which he apologises.
