Referee's report by George Howard Darwin, on behalf of the Mathematical Commitee, on a paper 'Octonions' by Alex McAulay

Reference number: RR/13/72

Date: 09 March 1896

Description

The Committee is of the opinion that the paper should be published as a book. A grant by the Royal Society should be made in aid of its publication. It is likely that the Mathematical Society would not cooperate with the publication. The grant should be substantial, as the work is very valuable.
