Letter from John Ambrose Fleming, on a paper 'The measurement of high potential difference' by H C Leake, R Leventhorpe and C S Whitehead to the Secretary of the Royal Society

Reference number: RR/13/59

Date: 17 February 1896

Description

He has enclosed the letter from Joseph John Thomson. If it is possible to suspend the eight page rule, it should be published in Proceedings. He agrees with Thomson and believes the length of the paper should not matter in this case. The paper is a very advanced laboratory exercise and not a contribution to new knowledge.
