Description

Not recommended for publication in Philosophical Transactions, in its present form. The experimental information is important and the new facts would be of great value if they were properly established. The form of the paper is highly unsatisfactory and it contains a great deal of unnecessary repetition. The paper should be returned to the authors, who should alter is accordingly to ensure it is suitable for publication.
