Referee's report by Charles Vernon Boys, on a paper 'A magnetic detector of electrical waves and some of its applications' by Ernest Rutherford

Reference number: RR/13/107

Date: July 1896

Description

Recommended for publication in Philosophical Transactions. The author's method is 'exceedingly beautiful' and is an excellent account of varied information. The paper uses both centimetres and inches indifferently throughout the paper. The scale of the curves could be modified. However, these are 'merely trivial points' that don't diminish the value of the paper.
