Description

Will accept the offer of twenty pages in the Proceedings, so long as he can publish mathematical proof elsewhere, and will not be harassed when selecting material for publication. Does not have a fair copy of the paper to work from. Accepts the offer on the grounds of maintaining amicable relations with the Royal Society, but has not changed his opinion of the referee's treatment of the paper.
