Description

Recommended for publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'. The paper is a sequel to an earlier one on fishes. Suggests returning the paper to the author for revision. Fuller reference to the figures should be given in the text, and the references to papers is incomplete. Some of the pages of the manuscript appear to be out of order.
