Description

Not recommended for publication by The Royal Society. The work is 'of a very doubtful character''. He gives an analysis of a substance that is of doubtful purity and it is therefore somewhat suspicious. If the paper were to be published it would make the Proceedings 'ridiculous'. He believes Professor Ramsay will concur with his opinion.
