Second referee's report by Arthur Milnes Marshall, on a paper 'The development of the branchial arterial arches in birds, with special reference to the origin of the subclavians and carotids' by John Yule Mackay

Reference number: RR/10/59

Date: 18 October 1887

Description

Recommended for publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'. The paper is improved, but the references still need to be more exact to be of use, such as including page numbers and correct journal titles. Refers to work of Martin Heinrich Rathke, the reference and criticism of whose work is not suited for the Philosophical Transactions. The paper requires further alteration as it currently 'has a distinctly slovenly appearance'.
