Description

First paper - Not recommended for publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'. The account is excellent, and beautifully illustrated. Recommends printing a full abstract in the Proceedings, with the illustrations returned to the author, will permission to use them in a publication elsewhere 'prior to the final entombment of the paper in the Archives of the Society'.

Second paper - Recommended for publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'. Refers to work of Charles Darwin. The figures should be reproduced as chromolithographs, work to be undertaken in Frankfurt.
