1. If the Cold be as great or greater between 60 and 70 degrees of North latitude, then between 70 and 80
2. If when wine or beer is frozen the ice melted, affords an insipid watery liquor
3. How deer and other beasts do live while the ground is covered with snow
4. Whether the ice that sometimes troubles the ships be sea water or river water frozen, and whence it comes driven by winds and carried by currents
5. How they dresse the skins of beasts fish and fowle with hair on
6. whether they have observed, the same variation to be there now as in former times, and if not, what difference
7. That they try the weather glasse
8. What time the sun riseth and setteth apparently
