- at G Graham's house in Fleet Street by Andreas Celsius using a reflecting telescope of 11 inches, magnifying 60 times and made in Edinburgh
- in Covent Garden by Dr Bevis
- at Yeovil in Somerset by Mr Milner and sent to Dr Allen
