Concerns a preparation of a dye made from alum and sal alkali which is comparable to the colour of the flower Gentianella and might be used by painters as a substitute for ultramarine - first created by Mr Frisch who lives in Berlin
Read to the Royal Society on "9 January 1723" [actually 1724]
