Description

Plate 47, figure 19 (labelled here as figure 15) containing a copy of a graph originally by Mr [George Gabriel] Stokes showing the dark lines of the solar spectrum, overlaid with a graph illustrating the relative chemical action effected by various parts of the solar spectrum on a mixture of chlorine and hydrogen. Inscribed with publication and plate details. Signed bottom left 'H. E. Roscoe. del.' The manuscript for this paper is wanting.
