Description

Plate 16, figure 10 and plate 17, figure 9 showing the egg tube of the Nepa [water scorpion] and the end of the egg of the Cynips lignicola [gall wasp?]. Inscribed with publication and plate details. Rough outlines of figure 1 from plate 16 appear below. Some figures have been cut out of the middle of the page. An ink inscription above reads 'Psocus Oct. 12. 58'. Not signed. The manuscript for this paper is wanting.

Published in Philosophical Transactions as part of paper titled 'On the ova and pseudova of insects' by John Lubbock.
