Description

Plate 43, figures 6-11 showing sections of teeth from the Sciurus niger [fox squirrel] and the Sciurus erythropus [Euxerus erythropus; striped ground squirrel]. There appear to be faint dates written in pencil next to the figures, all from December 1849. Inscribed with figure, publication, and plate details. Not signed.

Published in Philosophical Transactions as part of paper titled 'On the structure of the dental tissues of the order Rodentia' by John Tomes.
